Little Avery - Baltimore Newborn Photography

After initially second guessing the idea of professional newborn photos, the Cobb's couldn't resist booking a shoot once their incredibly adorable Avery came into the world!  I love working with clients who can identify the type of look that resonates best with them, so it was quite humbling and flattering knowing they wanted to work with me for my style! Here are my favorites from their lifestyle newborn session in Mt. Vernon (Baltimore) - meet little Avery!

I have a few updates that I'd like to share with my lovely readers. 
 
Newsletter: Starting this month, I will be sending a monthly Pippy Pictures Newsletter to all of my clients.  It will include tips and tricks to consider during your photo sessiosn and information on specials and contests!  You can subscribe here to stay up to date. You won't regret it :)

2012-2013 Referral Program:  I decided to develop a referral program valid through the end of 2013 only as an experiment.  This is quite exciting because it will help grow the Pippy family tree and will benefit each of my participating clients. Here's how it works:

• YOU earn 15% off a full session shoot if one of your friends books a shoot with Pippy Pictures (after 10/1/12) and uses your name as the referrer
• If your FRIEND referrs one of their friends, your FRIEND will earn 15% off a full session shoot and YOU receive 10% off a print from your shoot
• If your FRIEND'S FRIEND referrs someone, they will get 15% off a full session shoot, your FRIEND will get 10% off a print and YOU will get 5% off a print (the link ends here)

To Summarize, here are the possibilities if you complete the three person link:

• YOU can get up to the following:  15% off a full session shoot, 10% off a print, and 5% off a print 

• Your FRIEND can get up to the following:  15% off a full session shoot, 10% off a print 

• Your FRIEND'S FRIEND can get up to the following:  15% off a full session shoot 

• This is limited to ONE referral per person and does not count towards existing referrals, only new ones.  Print sizes are 8x10 and under.  The referral program begins October 1, 2012 and ends December 31, 2012

Sweet Little Emmie

Whew!!! It has certainly been a whirlwind couple of months.  So much has been going on over here.  I started a new job, launched a new photo brand and website, and for those of you that don't know, I'm getting married in.....wait for it, wait for it....8 days!!! I feel like I JUST got engaged on the beautiful Schooner Mistress, and now all of a sudden its 14 months later and it's feeling like fall already.  I actually had to cut back on shooting and blogging the past few months because most of my free time has been dedicated to wedding planning and DIY crafting.  Let me tell you, I wouldn't hate if I never saw burlap, lace or hot glue again, haha.  Don't worry though, I'm back in full photo swing after October 9th!  And I'll be a Mrs. as well :)

Speaking of the wedding, I had the most amazing stationary made by my dear friend Ashley.  She owns the Preppy Paperie and really brought our nautical vision to life in our Save the Dates, Invitations and RSVPs.  Not only is she a a very talented designer, but we also used to work together and she's been a client of mine for the past few years.  This time around, there was fourth subject added to their family photos.  Meet the cutest, sweetest, most adorable new addition to their family, Emery Morgan :)

Little Owen + Jackson - Family Shoot

It started with maternity photos almost two years ago. Then we did some newborn photos of Owen and mommy in the studio.  And now we have toddler photos of Owen, newborns of Jackson, and the whole family together.  I've been so lucky to document this family since the very beginning and I'm so excited to share my favorites from the day!!

Blue Eyed Girl - Federal Hill Park

This family luckily beat the thunderstorms as they drove all the way from Harrisburg, PA to have their family photos take in Federal Hill Park.  Not only are they they most adorable family I've ever seen, but I've known them for years.  The Dad is the brother to one of my closest high school friends.  He and his wife are high school sweethearts and their newest addition couldn't. be. cuter.  Here are a couple of my favorites from their shoot!
