Nilay's One! Old Ellicott City Shoot

Old Ellicott City has so many charming nooks and crannies around each corner.  It's historic storefronts and B&O Railway make for perfect frames and backdrops for family shoots.  Little Nilay just turned one and he was so excited that he even tried to eat a couple rocks! :)  Here are a few of my faves...

Sweet Sea-breeze: OCMD Engagement Shoot

This couple couldn't have been sweeter.  Their romance has been blossoming ever since they were in middle school and it has continued to grow after countless trips to Ocean City, MD together. Both lovers of the sea and the sand, they decided to seal the deal when Chris propped the question this past Christmas.  The day of their engagement shoot couldn't have been more perfect with the sun and unaturally warm January temps.  With an almost deserted boardwalk and beach, we had free roam of the coastline and all of the spots they fell in love in :)

Graffiti+Bridges+Trains = Super Fun Family Shoot

Trains rushing by, asbestos warnings, crossing a high bridge over an icy river, climbing mountains and hanging from a ledge, abandoned buildings...not your typical family shoot and not your typical family.  This bunch was not only adventurous and fearless, but they chose the location and it really mimicked their personalities and family dynamic - super fun, exciting, carefree, loving life and each other.  I had such a good time during this shoot, even if I was terrified of crossing the train bridge!

Beautiful Bump

There is just something about a mommy-to-be that makes it hard for me to stop smiling.  With her sister/my bestie in tow, this particular mommy to be was oozing so much of that happy and joyful glow that it was nearly impossible to stop shooting - my camera and I loved ever second :)

A Stroll In Otterbein - Fall Family Mini

I used to live in Otterbein.  It's a quaint, quiet part of town right between downtown and Federal Hill.  You can walk to Cross Street, Inner Harbor, and Camden Yards and it's full of brick, cobblestone alleys, full grown trees, and little parks.  Its adorable and that's why I was excited when Vivian contacted me to do their family photos there :)  Enjoy my favorites!
